The long-sought unity in the Jewish community of Bayonne was brought a step nearer realization at a meeting held here at the Hebrew Free-School under the chairmanship of Julius C. Melniker.

Representatives of all Jewish organizations in the city participated and agreed to adopt for their aims a closer relationship of the Jewish societies and synagogues in the city and to take steps toward the erection of a Jewish Community Center.
