Premier Menachem Begin, recovering from a mild heart attack at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, was transferred today from the intensive care unit to a private ward in the cardiac department. The Premier’s condition remains stable, and his doctors are satisfied with his recovery, a hospital spokesman said. Begin was hospitalized June 30 after faking ill in the Knesset earlier in the day during a debate on a motion to call for early elections.
