Menahem Beigin, leader of the Israel Herut Party, reiterated today his demand for absorption of Jordan territory into a “whole Israel,” arguing that in such a state prosperity, freedom and security would be the lot of the Muslims, Christians and Hebrews.
Mr. Beigin, who spoke to the world convention of Betar, the Revisionist youth movement, also demanded an Israel Government “headed by Jabotinsky’s pupils.” The Herat leader hailed Betar members who settled in Israel development regions and new settlements and urged all Jewish youth to learn Hebrew as the first step toward their national redemption in Israel.
