King Baudouin of Belgium paid a visit to the Israeli pavilion at the Brussels International Fair during his tour of various national exhibitions.
The King, for whose visit the pavilion was briefly closed to the public, was taken with one of the famous Dead Sea Scrolls which was on exhibit. He also asked a number of questions concerning Israel’s water supply problems, immigration and cultural progress.
