Nazi newspapers in Belgium which reached here today report that many Belgians have donned yellow badges in protest against the introduction of the yellow Mogen David for Jews in their country and as a demonstration against the Nazi occupational administration.
Spontaneous demonstrations by Belgians protesting against the anti-Jewish laws are similarly reported by the Belgian Nazi press, especially by the Flemish Nazi newspaper Voelken Staat. The same paper also announces that all Jews in Belgium have been ordered to submit their identity cards to the authorities to have them restamped.
Information reaching the Dutch government-in-exile here today states that the Nazi authorities in Holland have issued an order prohibiting Jews to appear in restaurants, coffee houses, hotels, boarding houses, theatres, cinemas, sporting grounds, concerts, libraries, public parks, zoos and other public places. They will no longer be allowed to do any shopping in public markets, and are not permitted to move from their dwellings unless by special permission.
