The laws of Israel will be based on the principles of the “gathering in of the exiles” and “love thy neighbor as thyself,” Premier David Ben Gurion declared here today addressing the 13th annual conference of the Bar Association.
The Israeli Premier noted that the first principle was dictated by the new state’s interests as related to the growing population of the Jewish state, while the second principle was “inherent in Israel’s universal mission.”
