Benjamin V. Cohen, United States representative to the United Nations, yesterday voiced a plea for tolerance as the only hope of civilized survival at an academic convocation of Dropsie College of Hebrew and Cognate Learning here. Honorary degrees were awarded to Mr. Cohen, Viscount Samuel, first British High Commissioner for Palestine, Dr. John W. Nason, president of Swarthmore College, and Dr. Harry A. Wolfson, author and Harvard University professor.
