The Jewish National Fund of America receives two bequests for the purchase of land in Palestine, under the will of Abraham Eichel of 270 Riverside Drive, it was disclosed when his will was offered for probate on Wednesday. Mr. Eichel died on July 17 last. The value of his estate was not disclosed.
The institution receives the residuary estate of undetermined value, and the principal of a $20,000 trust fund after the death of the life tenant, James Eichel of 270 Riverside Drive, a brother of the deceased.
Three other institutions also receive bequests. They are the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society and the Hebrew Kindergarten Day and Night Nursery, which get $2,000 each and the Henry Street Settlement which gets $500.
