Peter Bercovitch, K.C. Jewish member of the Quebec Legislature, was chosen councillor of the Montreal Bar Association for the 1930-1931 term at the caucus of the English speaking lawyers.
Jewish lawyers recently initiated a movement to obtain representation on the council of the local bar.
