The executive committee of the Berlin Jewish community decided today to participate officially in the twenty-fifth anniversary celebration of the founding of Tel Aviv which begins on April 29. The Chairman of the committee, Dr. Aron Sandler, will leave Berlin on Wednesday by airplane to represent the Berlin Jewish community at the Tel Aviv celebration.
From an empty sand dune in 1909, Tel Aviv has grown until it is today a modern, beautiful city with some 70,000 Jewish inhabitants.
