Berlin Correspondent of “jewish Daily Forward” Arrested; Will Be Expelled, It is Reported

Jacob Leschzinsky, Berlin correspondent of the New York “Jewish Daily Forward” was arrested and taken to police headquarters for questioning.

It is understood that he had been arrested at the request of Minister Goering on the charge of sending abroad reports likely to discredit Germany. On inquiry at police headquarters, his wife was told that he would be expelled. Leschzinsky is a Lithuanian citizen.
