The result of the new elections to the Berlin Kehillah, where the liberal majority was broken and a greater number of Zionist delegates were elected, may affect the policy of the Jewish Colonization Association (Ica).

According to the provisions of the will of the late Baron de Hirsch, founder of the Ica, the council governing the Jewish Colonization Association is to include representatives from the Berlin Kehillah. With the election of a larger number of Zionist delegates, the possibility arises for the first time that a Zionist may be delegated as the representative of the Kehillah on the Ica council.
