Berlin’s Jewish community marked the 64th anniversary of Kristallnacht. Several hundred people, among them German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer and Israeli Ambassador Shimon Stein, gathered for Saturday’s commemoration at the city’s main Jewish community center, which stands on the site of a synagogue destroyed Nov. 9, 1938.
