Election of three new members of the board of directors of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was announced today by Robert H. Arnow, president. They are Julius Berman of New York, vice president of the National Jewish Commission on Law and Public Affairs; Albert M. Bershad of Philadelphia, member of the executive board of the Federation of Jewish Agencies of Greater Philadelphia; and Gottlieb Hammer of New York, executive vice chairman of the United Israel Appeal. Their election brings the JTA board membership up to 41. In announcing their acceptances, Mr. Arnow said that their membership on the board would broaden its representative character and add to its strength.
