Funeral services were held here for Bernard P. Kopkind, an attorney, civic leader and a leader in Jewish community affairs, who died at the age of 64. Mr. Kopkind served as president of the Jewish Community Center and of the New Haven Jewish Community Council and was a board member and treasurer of the New England Region of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds. He had also served as vice president of the New England section of the National Jewish Welfare Board and was a vice chairman and co-founder of the National Community Relations Advisory Council.
