One of the best indications that the country is resuming its normal life is the return of many students to the Beth Sefer Reali School from whence they had been withdrawn when the riots began, although the school itself, a veritable fortress, was never in danger. Situated on the slope of Mt. Carmel in the center of the new Jewish quarter, this noted school, which has 400 students, about 40 from the United States, and others from Poland, China and South Africa, has begun its new school year in time.
