Rep. Joseph Martin, House Majority Leader, today introduced a bill in the House which would grant $150,000,000 in financial aid to Israel. The bill is similar to measures submitted yesterday by House majority leader John W. McCormack and by 36 Senators.
The bill introduced in the House yesterday has been sent to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. The bill submitted to the Senate by Sen. Robert Taft and Sen. Paul A. Douglas was today referred to the Upper House’s Foreign Relations Committee.
