An annual banquet was held here last evening by the Jewish community of Binghamton in the reception room of the synagogue, to mark the opening of the season’s activity of the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, Branch 33 of Farband, and ladies auxiliary, with Paul Holzer presiding. Guests from Syracuse and Scranton, Pa., representing the district, were present.
Joseph L. Malamut gave humorous recitations, while David S. Alt-field, director of the Syracuse Dramatic Circle, and Rachel Mazur, radio performer, and a member of the New York Farband choir, sang.
