Binyamin Akzin, a professor of political science at the Hebrew University, has been elected president of the Friendship Associations, an umbrella organization encompassing all of Israel’s friendship associations with other countries. His election was unanimous at the Friendship Association’s biennial convention here last week. Dr. Arye Arazi was elected chairman of the executive. The organization acts in full cooperation with the World Zionist Organization’s foreign relations department.
