A threat of “further action” is contained in a resolution forwarded by the National Blue Men of America to James Fuller, president of the Lido Country Club, in connection with the report that the club has barred Daniel Frohman because he is a Jew.
Signed by Ben Lazare, national commander, the communication protests “your antagonistic views,” and intimates additional moves “in the event that your organization continues your present un-American tactics and in the event that the Lido Country Club cannot clearly convince us that your methods of discrimination have ceased.”
