Blum Accused of “betrayal of Duties

Ex-Premier Leon Blum has been accused by the public prosecutor before the French Supreme Court in Riom of “betrayal of the duties of his charge.” The charges against him are that he was prepared to engage France in war to defend his own ideologies and that his social policies restricted armament production during the Popular Front regime.

Ex-Minister of Interior Georges Mandel is accused of having strives to establish personal rule with British aid and also of “corruption and speculation on the value of the national currency.”
