B’nai Brith Canada criticized Canada’s foreign minister for laying a wreath on Yasser Arafat’s grave. The tribute by Pierre Pettigrew late last week to Arafat’s “legacy of violence and incitement is an insult to the memory of the many victims of his reign of terror,” Frank Diamant, the group’s executive vice president, said in a letter to Pettigrew.
