Alfred M. Cohen of Cincinnati, was reelected president of B’nai B’rith at the closing session of the fourteenth quinquennial convention this morning.
Mr. Cohen, who is in his seventy-fifth year, was first elected president in 1925 and reelected in 1930. His present term has been changed from five years to three years by an amendment to the organization’s constitution adopted by the convention Wednesday.
GOLDEN RENAMED
Other members of the executive committee reelected are: Judge I. M. Golden of San Francisco, vice president, representing District 4; Archibald A. Marx of New Orleans, vice president, representing District 7; Louis Fabricant of New York, District 1; Sidney G. Kusworm of Dayton, Ohio, District 2; Henry A. Alexander of Atlanta, Georgia, District 5; Henry Monsky of Omaha, Nebraska, District 6.
Joseph W. Salus of Philadelphia was elected to the executive committee to represent District 3 in place of Jacob Singer of Philadelphia, who resigned because of illness. The executive committee reelected I. M. Rubinow of Cincinnati as executive secretary.
