A gift of $28,500 to the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovoth, Israel, from B’nai B’rith was announced today by Frank Goldman, president. The funds were raised through B’nai B’rith’s “Aid-to-Israel” program, Goldman said, adding that “we have made this contribution because we feel that scientific progress is basic to the economy of Israel.” Ten thousand dollars of the total was given by the Metropolitan Council of B’nai B’rith, headed by 8. Arthur Glixon.
