The B’nai B’rith executive committee decided today at its annual meeting to make a cardinal feature of the 512 lodges during 1939 a program designed to popularize interest in and stimulate rededication to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution during the sesquicentennial anniversary year of its adoption. The decision was made in approving the report of the Americanism Committee.

The executive committee also approved a vocational service bureau plan to publish a series of occupational monographs by experts in the fields of business, agricultural professions and skilled trades; to establish vocational guidance speakers’ bureaus in all B’nai B’rith districts, and to create experimental centers’ where Jewish youth may receive expert counsel in personality adjustment.

The executive committee voted the following appropriations: Youth Aliyah, $500 (in addition to the $10,000 voted last May); the Intercollegiate Committee to Aid Student Refugees, $1,000; for relief of the Jewish community of Chile, stricken by earthquake, $1,000.
