An exhibition of some 1, 000 books written by 400 Jewish authors was opened here by the B’nai B’rith in the presence of Austrian Chancellor Josef Klaus, Culture Minister Piffl, Mayor Marek and Ambassador M. Simon of Israel. Many of the Jewish authors whose works were on display contributed to the cultural life of a number of German-speaking countries.
