A new adult Jewish education program aimed at reaching thousands of men and women in various parts of the world was adopted here yesterday at a meeting of the B’nai B’rith Advisory Committee on the Institutes of Judaism. The committee it composed of leading Jewish scholars, educators and writers.
The committee will hold 30 B’nai B’rith institutes in 1954 in the United States, Canada, Israel, South America and Switzerland where Jewish study groups will meet with distinguished scholars and educators. The program also visualizes preparation of a radio and television “Jewish Invitation to Learning” series.
