One of the three pens with which President Truman signed the announcement of the de jure recognition of Israel was formally presented last night by Frank Goldman, president of the B’nai B’rith, to Ambassador ELiahu Elath of Israel at a banquet attended by 2,000 delegates to B’nai B’rith’s District 1 convention here.
Ambassador Elath, who is leaving for Tel Aviv on June 4, said he would take the pen to Israel and place it with other historic state possessions in the National Archives of the Jewish state.
