A draft for $3,000 to help maintain German-Jewish child refugees in Great Britain has been cabled by B’nai B’rith to London as another step in its overseas refugee aid work, it was announced here today. The draft was dispatched to Julius Schwab, president of District Grand Lodge No. 15, comprising the lodges and auxiliaries in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, which initiated the program of refugee child care in England and committed itself in the care of 900 of the 5,000 children brought into the British Isles.
