The Executive Committee of the B’nai Brith has assigned $2,500 for the Academy of Jewish Learning in Berlin, following the appeal made by Dr. Israel Auerbach, a delegate of the Academy, according to the announcement made by Leon L. Lewis, General Secretary of the B’nai Brith Order.
The Academy is an institution for higher Jewish learning and the study of all Jewish documents in literature and history. It has already issued in Germany a number of works which are considered to be of great value.
