B’nai B’rith has undertaken a survey in conjunction with its District No. 2 to determine where and to what extent flood relief is needed as a preliminary step to aiding in the rehabilitation of flood victims. District No. 2 includes cities which bore the brunt of flood damage.
“B’nai B’rith has always given generously to the Red Cross,” said Alfred M. Cohen, president of the order. “Now that the flood has subsided, however, it is obvious that aid of a more enduring nature is necessary for many who suffered the less of their homes and businesses.
