The B’nai B’rith President’s Medal will be awarded this year to Abraham Feinberg, president of the Israel Bond Organization, it was announced here last night. The award, which is given “for distinguished and enduring contributions of a humanitarian nature,” will be presented to Mr. Feinberg at the 117th annual meeting of B’nai B’rith here on November 27.
Former Harry S. Truman, himself a previous recipient of the award, will be the principal speaker at the presentation banquet. Mr. Feinberg, who is chairman of the board of the Kayser-Roth Corporation, is also chairman of the board of trustees of Brandeis University and head of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science.
