Preparations were completed here today for the opening Sunday night of the triennial convention of the B’nai B’rith, which will be attended by more than 400 delegates representing 300,000 members of the organization throughout the world. The four day meeting will bring together the largest number of delegates ever to attend a B’nai B’rith convention since the inception of the group 103 years ago.
The opening session on Sunday will be highlighted by addressed by Hon. Gad Frumkin, Justice of the Supreme Court of Palestine; M. Gordon Liverman, past president of the B’nai B’rith in Great Britain; and Hon. Meier Steinbrink, Justice of the Supreme Court of New York, chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission. Attorney General Tom C. Clark will deliver the principal address at the convention dinner, Monday night, at the Hotel Statler.
