A resolution supporting the decision taken by the board of the Jewish National Fund in Jerusalem last week, rejecting a proposal to merge the Fund with the Koren Hayosod was adopted here today by Bnai Zion, fraternal Zionist organization, at its semi-annual conference, held at the Hotel Waldorf-Astoria.
In another resolution, the organization decided to establish an annual award honoring an American for promoting letter relations between the people of the United States and the people of Israel. This year’s award will be made on May 14, the anniversary of the proclamation of Israel independence.
