The whole of the Board of the Union of German Jewish ex-soldiers has resigned. It is expected that the Union will dissolve and be substituted by the Union of National Jewish Soldiers whose program and ideology is regarded as more in keeping with the present regime.
The Union of German Jewish ex-sol-dies, as recently as March 13, in an attempt to counteract the Nazi propaganda, held a public forum to which they invited “comrades of all faiths” to come and state their views and listen to the Jewish viewpoint. On that occasion it was made clear that the opposition to the Union was based mainly on the Nazi accusation that it was a separatist organization that regarded itself as quite apart from the general Germanic body.
