Yesterday’s Royal Air Force attacks on Italian bases in the Dodecanese Islands were described here today as a reprisal for the Italian raid on Tel Aviv on Sept. 9.
Returning from what he called a “successful” attack, one of the British pilots declared: “Since the chaps at Rhodes and Leros were those who raided Tel Aviv, it was with more than the usual pleasure that we went off on this raid.”
