More than 450 business and communal leaders from various parts of the United States and Canada will attend the opening session of the three-day National Planning Conference of the Israel Bond drive, at the Biltmore Hotel tomorrow. The conference will plan for greater financial aid for Israel’s economic development through Israel Bonds, which have provided more than $400, 000, 000 since 1951.
Dr. David Horowitz, Governor of the Bank of Israel will present a report on Israel’s economic achievements and development plans for the future. Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice president of the Bond organization will report on the results of the 1959 Israel Bond drive and the prospects for the new year.
