The economic aid talks between Israeli and West German negotiating teams will not be completed until the end of this week at the earliest, it was indicated here today. It was also reported that the talks would continue for the rest of the week without any suspensions to avert speculation of a possible crisis in West German-Israeli relations.
It was also reported that, after the sessions tomorrow, the discussions will concern “technical questions.” It was clear today that both sides were determined to continue the talks and bring them to a satisfactory conclusion. When the talks resumed this morning, the Israelis handed to the Bonn negotiators counter-proposals on the terms of the proposed aid and on the quantity.
