H.A. Cronk, president of the Borden’s Farm Products Company, Inc., announces that his company has instituted suit to have set aside the provision of the law which requires that advertised brands of milk sold through stores be priced higher than “not well advertised brands.”
Mr. Cronk maintains that such a provision is discriminatory since it makes it impossible for the consumer to buy the highest quality milk at as low a price as any other. The company recently announced that any increase in price at this time is undesirable because of the probable adverse effect on purchasing power and consumption.
