An Israeli border police sergeant was killed and two other border policemen and an Israeli soldier were injured when a bomb exploded this morning near the refugee camp of Balata near Nablus. The dead man was identified as Abd Hatib of the Druze village of Horfish.
The three policemen and the soldier were standing near the camp when the explosion went off. Nearby shops were ordered closed by the authorities and several persons were being questioned by the police.
