Boston Jewry to Mark 275th Year of First Jewish Colony

Boston Jewry will officially celebrate the 275th anniversary of the founding of the first Jewish colony in the United States on Wednesday evening, December 17, at Faneuil Hall, the cradle of American liberty.

Distinguished Jews and non-Jews will participate in the elaborate program being planned by Alexander Brin, publisher of the Jewish Advocate, who is chairman of the committee. Among the notable array of speakers will be the Rev. Dr. S. Parkes Cadman of New York, former president and chairman of the Good Will Committee of the Federal Council of Churches of Christ in America, and Professor Albert Bushnell Hart of Harvard University, the eminent historian.
