Dr. Harry Savitz, Brookline physician and Hebrew scholar, was elected president of the Hebrew Teachers College to succeed Benjamin A. Trustman who was recently elected president of the Associated Jewish Philanthropies. The college is an affiliate of the AJP, supported through the Combined Jewish Appeal of Greater Boston. Dr. Savitz is on the staff of the Beth Israel Hospital and is instructor in medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
