Both houses of the German Parliament are expected to vote later this week on legislation that would enable the country to begin making payments to Holocaust-era slave and forced laborers. All six parties in the Parliament are expected to overwhelmingly approve the bill authorizing a $5.2 billion compensation fund for the laborers.
