Both the Reform and Conservative Movements will soon join the World Zionist Organization Avraham Shenker, director of the WZO Organization and Information Department, reported to the WZO Executive, He said talks between the WZO and the Reform Movement’s Union for Progressive Judaism are far advanced and the actual act of joining is expected shortly. The Conservative leaders, he added, had made a decision in principle to join the WZO and set up a negotiating committee which had started contacts with a special WZO committee. Shenker said both sides would make every effort to bring the Conservative Movement into the WZO as soon as possible.
