Renunciation of the boycott of German-made goods and attacks upon the Federation of German Societies of Buffalo and vicinity and two of its leaders, formed the substance of an address given here by Joseph Schuster, singing waiter of Brooklyn and leader of the eastern divison of the Friends of New Germany.
In his talk before almost 400 “Friends” in Cafe Fatherland, Schuster urged his listeners to support the German-American United Front, which recently was attacked by the federation as a “Nazi organization.” He opened his address with a bitter attack upon the boylcott.
The meeting was sponsored by the local branch of the Friends of New Germany. Emil Auer, chairman of the branch, introduced the speaker.
