The twenty-ninth annual convention of the National Young Judaea, junior branch of the Zionist organization of America, in the Esplanade Hotel here closed yesterday. During the sessions 300 delegates participated in the deliberations.

Decision to form a National Board of Directors composed of Zionists in communities throughout the country to care for the budgetary needs of the Young Judaea was reached by a unanimous vote.

The expansion of the organization has involved a burden which must be borne with the cooperation of local, state and national Boards of Trustees, it was pointed out. Voluntary leadership will be retained and the character of the organization will otherwise not be changed under the new plans.

The creation of four boards of trustees under the new plan were announced by the Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Rochester delegations.

An exhibition of educational material and an analysis of the literature published by Young Judaea was made by Rabbi Leon Lang. A symposium on “Young Judaea and Jewish Education in America” was led by Maurice Samuel and Miss Henrietta Szold.
