Brandeis University announced today that a $350,000 25-room mansion, which has been used by the university since 1962, has been made an our right gift by Mrs. Boice Gross, wife of a prominent San Francisco Attorney.
Themis House, the mansion, which is located a few miles from Waltham, and which is now being completely redecorated, will be used by the University as an off-campus conference site, similar to Columbia University’s Arden House. The mansion was most recently used to house a group of Peace Corps volunteers who were trained at Brandeis and are now on assignment in Bolivia.
