A $60,000 grant to memorialize the name of David K. Niles, late administrative assistant to Presidents Roosevelt and Truman was announced here today by Brandeis University.
The grant, made by the David K. Niles Fund of Boston, will be used for a Niles Room in the University’s American Civilization Center and for an American Government Fellowship program in his name. Mr. Niles became a member of the University’s board of trustees in 1949, serving until his death in 1952.
