Abraham Feinberg of New York, chairman of the Brandeis University Board of Trustees, announced that the University’s income for the academic year now closing was $8,493,764, the largest one-year total in the University’s history.
Dr. Abram L. Sachar, president of Brandeis, said the commencement exercises last week ended the University’s tenth year as the completion of a phase and the beginnings of a new era for the University. “We now pass,” he noted, “from the small college to the small university ideal.”
