Ilya Ehrenburg, well known Soviet war correspondent, said here today that he had been greatly impressed during his tours of many battlefronts by the tributes paid to Jews for “their hercio fight a gainst the bated murderers of their brethren.” He stated that exact statistics on the numbers of Jews in Russia killed by the Nazis are not yet available as families are still scattered.
